holy shit this new script is exciting. I'm so glad that I got this idea when I did because I really needed to start writing again. I can't wait to turn this into an indie movie and enter it into the film festivals :)

well myspace was being a shit (what else is new eh?) but I had enough time to post some pix here. Can't stay on the computer long though because my c-section incision area hurts like hell. Soooo enjoy the piccies. More coming soon plus videos. Gotta go check on our little man too. Daddy got him a new bouncy seat and he keeps kicking his blankets off of himself lol. Good thing we have the heat up in this house or he would be freeezing. It's storming outside right now. Pretty sweet.

akira is finally here!!!

Well, it wasn't an easy delivery, I'll tell you that much right now...

After being turned away from the hospital many times, we really didn't know when our baby boy would come into this world. We were actually getting really depressed because people kept asking us "so have you had that baby yet?" every time someone would ask I would almost end up crying bc I was so depressed... On the night of October 6th (my Grandma's (that passed away's) birthday) I started to feel very heavy contractions that would almost bring a person to their knees.

We rushed to the hospital and SURPRISE! I was in the second stage of labor. But Akira was still posterior. He needed to drop a little more so the nurse said to walk. And walk we did until the contractions grew stronger and I had dialated even more and effaced to 80%. Our nurse (nurse Jamie) knew it was our time and admitted us to the hospital.

The nurse said that I still needed to dialated and I also needed my bag of water to break but now I was completely 100% effaced after an hour had passed. The contractions were getting really bad so she suggested light walking and hot baths to help things a long. After I could walk no more, Thad started to draw hot/warm baths for me. He was always asking how I was doing and what he could do to make things better. At about three am, Dr.Haye stepped in and decided to break my water (YAY!). When my water was broken it felt like I had pee'd my pants lol. At three am my anasthesiologist (or however you spell it) came in and asked me about my pain management. I asked him if I could have the Epidural since the pain was getting so bad. First he gave me a shot to take the edge off and numb the area where the Epidural would be placed. At 4am I got my Epidural and it turns out that the only thing that is in the Epidural is called Phentanol or Fentanol I cannot remember how it's spelled. He had a hard time finding a spot to put it in. But after it was put in, I was good to go. I even had a little button to push when I needed more pain relief.

After that it was wait, wait, wait because everyone thought that I was going to deliver vaginally. Even I thought I was. They had been monitoring me and Akira to keep track of how we were doing. All throughout this time Thad was getting me water, ice chips, sprite, ect. :)
At 11:00am when the doc came in to check me, he had noticed that the baby's oxygen level was dropping dangerously low and had me taken over to the OR for an emergency C-Section. I had never been so afraid in my entire life. I thought I was going to lose my little boy. They wheeled me down on a gurney and I started to shake tremendously. After they administered more anasthetic and made sure that I was numb from the waist down, they began to cut. I couldn't feel anything. .... at 12 noon akira was born happy and 100% healthy.

I'm in a lot of pain now but it was all worth it.We love our baby bear :)

apparently he doesn't want to come out yet. The doc wants to induce me if he doesn't come by the 10th. I'm not really up for the whole inducing thing bc I want him to come naturally and not have them pump him full of drugs. The little guy needs to come out soon. I can barely breathe right now. I can just picture how the stories are going to be years later when he gets older.

"You made your Mom puke up green bile for the first four months of the pregnancy and she ended up in the hospital quite a few times bc of a rib sprain. You also didn't want to come on your due date and you made your Mom feel like she had a big bowling ball down there. When you finally came out I wanted to yell "striiiiike!" HAHAHA!

I cannot wait until this is over

Finally after nothing happening and many false alarms, I am dialated to 4cm
The hospital still sent me home though bc my water hasn't broken yet
It feels like there is a giant anvil sitting on my pelvic bone and my back is starting to get sore as hell
I'm gonna drink some tea, pass out, and hopefully wake up to my water breaking or something good like that
If I can get to sleep lol
If I can't I'll probably go decorate the nursery more! :)

how to be glamorous even when you're 9 months pregnant

Exercise at least two to three times a day
(walk, walk, walk)
Eat decent meals
(avacado rolls are my best friend)
Get as much sleep as you can
(I bring the zzzz just like I bring the lulz)
Try to have a good outlook on life
(you're blessed enough to be able to have a kid, so take joy in that!)

Stay happy, fit, and fun! It's not that hard to do! If Gwen Stefani can do it and I can do it, so can you too! :)

Even to this very day when I tell people that I'm 9 months, they get all O.O because I decided that I was going to be a fit Mom and try to be as healthy as possible. I got away with only gaining a few pounds and I owe it all to the above mentioned and my hubby for taking walks with me and making me super yummy things to eat like avacado rolls, mac salad, and sweet rice. I splurged every once ina while on sweets, buuuut I always made sure to exercise to work off those calories. Minus the PUPP, headaches, and nausea, this pregnancy has been great. Now it's time for our little guy to come out already because he is way overdue. Doc might be inducing me if he doesn't make his appearance soon :)

After months of what seemed like an endless pregnancy, the due date is ALMOST here! September 15th! We got the nursery all fixed up plus the bassinet put together and everything else. Awesome! New pix coming sooon yay!

moved to a new house. two stories. two bedrooms. one bathroom. big kitchen. niiiiice livingroom and a waterpark right down the street. it's hot as hell here in montana but I can deal with it. been writing a lot too.
